UPSC CDS II: The Union Public Service Commission has invited eligible candidates for CDS (Combined Defence Services) Examination II, 2018. The aspirants have to submit an online application by September 3, 2018 till 6 pm on the official website — upsconline.nic.in. The exam will be conducted on November 18, 2018. Educational qualifications: The candidate has to be either (i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy — Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.(ii) For Indian Naval Academy—Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.(iii) For Air Force Academy — Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

UPSC CDS II Application Form 2018 :
The CDS Application Form 2018 has been release and online registration has been started from 8th August 2018. All the eligible candidates are searching for the Procedure to apply for CDS II 2018 Exam. We are here to give you complete details, regarding the application procedure of CDS. The UPSC has updated CDS notification, which is given below. Candidates are advised to apply fill CDS 2018 Application form before the last date (3rd September 2018). Otherwise, their application form will be rejected. To apply for the examination, you need to visit the official website on the link, and then the application form will be displayed on the screen. Fill the form carefully, avoid errors while filling the form else your form will be exempted. Fill in all the details carefully and read them thoroughly before submitting to prevent mistakes. After filling in the form click on submit button. Scanned copy of your photograph and signature will be required while filling the form.
How to Apply for UPSC CDS II Exam 2018?
1. Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in.
2. You will land on to the homepage, then select career section.
3. Now click on the notification of recruitment process CDS-II 2018 Exam Notification
4. When you click on that notification, the form will be displayed along with the instruction set.
5. Read all the stated instructions carefully into it.
6. After reading all the instructions, fill in all the application form.
7. Fill in all the credentials mentioned in the form correctly.
8. Upload your scanned photograph and signature, in the required column.
9. If you’re filled information is correct, then click on the submit button.
10. Make the Application Fee Payment for the CDS II 2018 Application Form.
11. Now, they will take you to the page where your full application will be displayed.
12. Take a printout of that application form for future reference
13. Your recruitment form is submitted now. You will get an update in your mail account.
CDS 2018 Application Fee :
The CDS II Application Fee is Rs. 200 for all candidates except female, SC, and ST candidates because they are exempted from application fee. Candidates can pay application fee by depositing the money in any SBI Branch by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, SBBJ (State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur)/ SBH (State Bank of Hyderabad)/ SBM (State Bank of Mysore)/ SBP (State Bank of Patiala) /State Bank of Travancore or by using Credit OR Debit Card.

CDS Exam Pattern 2018 – SSB Interview Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test conducted at Service Selection Boards (SSBs). SSB Interview is a two-stage process. The details of each stage are explained below.
Stage 1 – All candidates will be put to stage 1 on first day of reporting at Selection Centres. Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception* DescriptionTest (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on a combination of performance in OIR Test and PP&DT.
Stage 2 – The stage 2 of SSB Interview comprises Interview, Group Testing Officers Tasks, Psychology Tests and the conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days. The overall personality of the candidate is assessed by three different assessors – Interviewing Officers (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist. The marks will be allotted by assessors after considering all the tests.
