Tobacco Board Technical Assistant Recruitment 2019: Tobacco Board released the official advertisement for the post of Field Officers/Technical Assistant/Superintendent/Accountant. Recognizing the need to regulate production, promote overseas marketing and control recurring instances of imbalances in supply and demand, which lead to market problems, the Government of India under the Tobacco Board Act of 1975, established the Tobacco Board, in place of the Tobacco Export Promotion Council. The Board came into existence from 1-1-1976 and opened its head quarters at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, India. “Tobacco Board is committed to accomplishing its role – the expressed will of parliament – for the smooth functioning of a vibrant farming system, fair and remunerative prices to tobacco growers and export promotion.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
1. The posts are purely temporary but are likely to continue. Present place of posting is likely to be in Andhra Pradesh/Karnataka State and the person recruited will be transferred to any of the existing Tobacco Board’s offices or likely to be opened in India.
2. The qualifications prescribed are minimum and possessing higher / additional qualification does not entitle the candidate to be called for test. The Tobacco Board has the right to fix criteria for screening the applications.
3. The pattern of examination is as follows:

In view of the large number of applications, scrutiny of the eligibility category etc., will not be undertaken at the time of on line examination. Therefore, the application will be accepted provisionally only. The candidates are advised to go through the requirement of educational qualification, age etc., and satisfy themselves that they are eligible, before applying. Copies of supporting documents will be sought only from those candidates who are offered the post and
they will be verified with the original documents. Candidature will be cancelled if any information or claim is not found substantiated when the scrutiny of documents is undertaken by the Board. Board’s decision shall be final in this regard.
Candidates employed in Government/Public Sector undertakings /Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel and candidates claiming age relaxation should produce a certificate in the prescribed format from their office at the time of document verification in respect of the length of continuous service which should be for not less than three years during the period immediately preceding the closing date for receipt of application. They should remain in the service till the time of appointment in the event of their selection.
Candidates can apply online only from 15/06/2019 to 15/07/2019 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
