Success Story of Amit Sahay: Achieving success in life is not something one gets by fluke or luck but is something for which a combination of skills, timing, hard work and luck is needed. Successful people share many common habits with each other and this is enough to prove that success may have a certain recipe and path. On the other hand, some habits which are common among unsuccessful people are wasting time, getting distracted easily, blaming others, not setting goals, fearing change, holding grudges and wanting others to fail, negative thoughts and thinking that they know everything. Take the stories of these ATC Officers. Their stories end in massive success, but all of them are rooted in failure. They’re perfect examples of why failure should never stop you from following your vision. Failure occurs everyday, in school, jobs, housework, and within families. It is unavoidable, irritating and causes pessimism. While the thought of flinging your hands in the air and walking away is all too appealing, take a second to connect with the people who have been there and selected in Airports Authority of India Exam.

Failure is not the alternative to success. It’s something to be avoided, but it’s also only a temporary setback on a bigger, more significant course. Everybody encounters failure at one point or another. What truly matters is how you react to and learn from that failure. Failure occurs everyday, in school, jobs, housework, and within families. It is unavoidable, irritating and causes pessimism. While the thought of flinging your hands in the air and walking away is all too appealing, take a second to connect with the people who have been there and selected in Airports Authority of India Exam.

Name- Amit Sahay

Place- Haryana

Selected as- Junior Executive (Technical)

It would be my pleasure to share my experience with my mentor. I was working with an IT company associated with Govt. of Haryana. So as a professional my job was to implement e-governance projects into various departments of Govt. of Haryana. As you all must be aware, being an IT professional is very hectic, I had long office hours with limited holidays. One fine day, I thought, I can not let this system consume me like this, I was not looking at a bright future in my career. So, I started looking for other options. One thing I would like to tell you, that, I could not get much time for studies due to my profession so, it was clear that that, i need to be very specific about my study material and target. I could not go for every exam and mug up all the thing at once. I chose this paper of AAI for one single reason, it matched my qualifications and I decide to go for it and leave the rest. I am the man who go for one target at one time.

So, the next hurdle was how to prepare and how to prepare. I was surfing internet and fortunately came across to YouTube Channel of Prashant Chaturvedi Tutorials. It was the only channel, which was focusing on every minute detail about the this exam, I started following this channel religiously, having said that, not blindly (As Prashant sir himself says). First thing I did was note down the syllabus given by the AAI, and paste it on my room’s wall. Prashant Sir, was giving lecture almost every day covering each topic from the syllabus used to first watch the lecture on the YouTube and solve the question set shared by Sir. After this, I also go for detailing of that paricular topic. For General Awareness and Quantitative aptitude, I was following, Prashant Sir Notes, for Marketing I was following my college notes and for AAI laws and regulations, I just read the index of the syllabus :).

I would like to tell aspirants that this exam is not that difficult and if me, who is not that good at studies and have left full time practise for such exams, can clear, you may also get through it easily, the only thing, you need be focus on what you read and you really need to read between the lines, literally.

It’s time you pass on your knowledge and help other aspirants by guiding them with how your journey was? What helped you? What you believe in?
