SSC CGL: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released answer key for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I exam 2019. Interested & Eligible Candidates can apply online from 22th October 2019. Last Date for Online Registration is 25 November 2019. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organisation under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.
This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
SSC conducts CGL every year to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in its Subordinate Offices. CGL 2019 will be a great opportunity for students looking forward for a position in the reputed organizations under the central government.

SSC CGL Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications varies according to the post for CGL 2019 and is listed below:

Physical Fitness Requirements: Apart from the above, there are certain requisite Physical Standards for Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).

Q. When will CGL 2019-20 Tier-I exam be conducted?
SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier-I CBT exam is scheduled from 2nd to 11th March 2020, while the Tier-II & III exam will be conducted on 22nd June to 25th June 2020.

The number of vacancies will be determined at the time of Document Verification i.e. about one month before the declaration of the final results.
Q. Will the exam be conducted online or offline?
Written Exam for SSC CGL will be conducted in online mode. Only Tier-III, descriptive paper will be conducted offline – pen and paper mode.
Q. What is the age criteria to apply for CGL?
Minimum Age to apply for SSC CGL written exam is 18 years and maximum age limit is 32 years.
Q. Are students in final year of graduation also eligible for CGL?
No. One cannot apply for the SSC CGL Exam if he/she hasn’t cleared the final year exam . For all the posts offered through SSC CGL exam, it is mandatory to be a graduate.
Q. May I know for which posts interviews are conducted as a part of selection procedure?
There are no interviews for any of the posts under SSC CGL Recruitment. The para 9.2 of the official notification for SSC CGL Recruitment 2019 clearly states that – “9.2 Interview component has been dispensed with. There will, therefore, be no interview.”
Q. Is negative marking applicable in CGL?
There will be negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer in Tier-I. In Tier-II, there is negative marking system of 0.25 for each wrong answer in paper II – English Language & Comprehensionand 0.50 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper III and Paper IV of Tier II.
