ATC Syllabus 2020: Airports Authority of India (AAI) recruits candidates for the Post of Managers, Junior Executive, Junior Assistant & Senior Assistant with valid GATE score or with out GATE score. Last Year on 4th July 2018 AAI released notification for 908 posts and later vacancies were decreased to 899 posts. 

Staring date of online registration was 16 July and last date of registration was 16 August 2018 but later these dates are also extended by 1 month. Last date for online registration was 15 September 2019. Exam was held on 29th Nov., 30th Nov., 2 Dec. & 3 Dec. Written exam result declared from the period of January to March for various posts.

Eligibility Criteria for AAI ATC Exam:

Regular Full Time Bachelor’s Degree of Three Years in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and Mathematics or B.E./B.Tech Degree in Any Discipline.

Minimum 60% Marks in UG. (If you have not 60% marks in UG, but more than 60% marks in PG, you are not eligible).


Age Criteria for AAI ATC Exam:

Maximum age 27 years as on crucial date. (Age, Education and all other criteria shall be reckoned as on crucial date).

Examination Pattern & Selection Process for AAI ATC Exam:

There are two sections in this exam. One is Technical & other is Non-Technical. Both section carry equal marks.

Technical: {Physics (Class 12th Text Books/NCERT)-30 , B.Sc Maths/Engineering Maths-30}- Total 60 Marks

Non-Technical: {English- 20, General Intelligence/Reasoning- 15, General Aptitude/Quantitative Aptitude- 15, General Knowledge- 10}

Selection Process: Online examination will be followed by Documents Verification and Voice Test. The candidate shall have minimum proficiency in both spoken and written English of the level of 10+2 standard. On selection, he/she shall also attain the ICAO language minimum proficiency level 4 (operational) for the purpose of issue of license or rating. Any candidate who is not able to attain ICAO proficiency level 4 or above during the training, his/her services are liable to be terminated.

AAI ATC Salary & Security Bond:

AAI ATC Salary: Pay Scale (E-1): 40000-3%-140000
In addition to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perks @35% of Basic Pay, HRA and other benefits which include CPF Gratutity, Social Security Schemes, Medical benefits etc. are admissible as per AAI rules.
The CTC per annum for the post of Junior Executive would be around Rs. 11 lacs (approximately).

AAI ATC Security Bond: The candidates selected for the post of Junior Executive (ATC) shall have to execute a surety bond for an amount of Rupees Five Lakhs to serve Airports Authority of India for a period of 03 years after completion of training.

1. General English

Reading comprehension, Fillers( Double fillers, Multiple Sentence Fillers, Sentence Fillers), New Pattern Cloze Test, Phrase Replacement, Odd Sentence Out cum Para Jumbles,Inference, Sentence Completion,Connectors, Paragraph Conclusion, Phrasal Verb Related Questions, Error Detection Questions, Word usage/ Vocab Based Questions.

2. Reasoning and Computer Aptitude

Puzzles & Seating Arrangements, Direction Sense, Blood Relation, Syllogism, Order and Ranking, Coding-Decoding, Inequalities, Alpha-Numeric-Symbol, Series, Data Sufficiency, Logical Reasoning , Non Verbal Reasoning

3. Quantitative Aptitude

Data Interpretation (Bar Graph, Line Chart, Tabular, Caselet, Radar/Web, Pie Chart), Inequalities (Quadratic Equations, Quantity 1, Quantity 2), Number Series, Approximation and Simplification, Data Sufficiency, Number system, Miscellaneous Arithmetic Problems (HCF and LCM, Profit and Loss, SI & CI, Problem on Ages, Work and Time, Work and Wages, Speed Distance and Time, Probability, Mensuration, Permutation and Combination, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Problems on Boats and Stream, Problems on Trains, Mixture and Allegation, Pipes and Cisterns).

4. General/ Financial Awareness

History, Geography, Polity, Govt. Schemes and Policies, Current Affairs Last 1 Year, Static General Awareness.
